This apple print was created during a time when I was feeling uncertain and not very hopeful about my future as a freelance illustrator. But giving up or giving in to negative thoughts has never been my style. Instead, I created these Apples of Hope — a reminder to stay positive and keep going.
Since then, the print has brought me unexpected luck and encouragement. It is now licensed by IKEA, which makes it even more special to me. I hope it brings the same sense of hope, strength, and good fortune to everyone who welcomes it into their home.
